DescriptionPublic library; Public services include: photocopier, 2 microfilm reader/printers, 2 microform readers, scanner, TV/VCR, Smart Board, Internet access and WiFi.  
 
Loan Periods: 21 days for Books, Books on CD & Music CDs; 7 days for magazines, Documentary & TV Series DVDs; 2 days for feature films & children's DVDs * Use Chatham-Kent Public Library's On-line Catalogue to search all 11 library locations for Books, DVDs, Books on CD and more * Check the availability of an item and place a hold, log onto your account to renew items. *  
 
The Library Cafe serves light refreshments, soup and baked goods from 9:30am-7pm Monday to Thursday and 9:30am-3:30pm Friday and Saturday  
 
McKeough Local History Room houses local history including local newspapers and microfilm dating from 1841, Kent County Census records from 1851-1901, black history collection, and books by people of Chatham-Kent * Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society Library & Bookstore-Located next to the McKeough Local History Room offers an historical and genealogical collection of interest to researchers and those tracing their family trees * Open Tuesday to Saturday 1:00 to 5:00pm. 
 
Meeting Room is available to rent in the evenings and on Saturdays. 
 
Parking- Free parking available at the corner of Cross and Jeffrey St; meter parking on Library Lane directly behind the Library which includes one 5 minute drop box parking space as well as on Queen St directly in front of the library

EligibilityEveryone welcome; Children under the age of 10 require parental or guardian supervision.
ApplicationTo register for a library card at any branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library all you need is valid identification with your current address. Children under the age of 16 require a parent or guardians signature.
FeesNone ; Fees for lost or stolen cards $2; variable fees for public services * Non-resident fees $25/yr or $15 for 6mth * Meeting Room rental rates are: Non-profit groups-$45/booking up to 4 hours; $75 for a full day on Saturday, For profit groups-$90/booking up to 4 hours, $145 for a full day on Saturday.
