DescriptionProvides Diabetes Information-Consumer information on many diabetes related topics-meal planning, exercise, complications of diabetes and more * Provides Support-Travel health insurance and credit life insurance for people with diabetes; Diabetes Dialogue-our national consumer magazine and local newsletters; Initiatives to address blanket discrimination around issues like insurance, vehicle licensing, employment and the financial costs associated with diabetes * Education-Information sessions and educational events teach people about diabetes prevention and management, these sessions are usually delivered with the aid of experts, we can provide speakers to address your group about diabetes at no charge, we host public awareness displays at wellness fairs, health promotion days and other events * Camps and Retreats-Camping programs for children with diabetes-offering young people a fun-filled summer camp experience and the opportunity to meet other children with diabetes * Campers also learn to take responsibility on a day-to-day basis in a medically and nutritionally supervised environment
