| Description | VON is a not-for-profit, national health care organization and registered charity offering a wide range of community health care solutions, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. VON cares for all ages and stages of life. VON Chatham-Kent has been in our community since 1938. Our 100 employees and over 200 volunteers work continuously to improve the health of our residents. We do so through our Home Care Programs: Visiting Nursing, Shift Nursing, Personal Support, Foot Care Services, Chronic Pain Management Assessment and Referral Program and Wellness Clinics. Also through our Community Support Programs: Supportive Care Volunteer Program, Safety Checks (Volunteer Visiting & Telephone Assurance), SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together), Kids’ Circle (Illness & Bereavement Support for Children) and Support Groups | |||
