DescriptionProvides the following leisure and recreation opportunities: craft, fitness, sport, aquatic, youth and pre-school programs * The Division runs and/or assists with special events such as First Night and the Trans Canada Trail Relay * The Division also operates the Boat Docks in Chatham and Wallaceburg * Maintain outdoor facilities; pools; parks; youth centres and campgrounds Recreation Facilities include: Kinsmen Auditorium & Memorial Arena 80 Tweedsmuir Ave Chatham, ON N7M 2A4 519-360-1998 Auditorium-Wheelchair Accessible; Amenities include a public address system, head table risers, hydro drops, bar setup equipped with tables and coolers * Arena-Wheelchair Accessible; Used for youth and adult hockey programs, trade shows, circus, fairs and team sports such as ball hockey and inline skating * Ice season starts 3rd week of Sept to the end of Mar Memorial Pool 80 Tweedsmuir Ave Chatham, ON N7M 2A4 519-360-1998-25 metre Pool, capacity for 180 people; Amenities include changerooms, diving board and washroom Kingston Park Shelter Paxton Drive Chatham, ON N7M 5J3 519-360-1998-Four picnic shelters with a capacity of 75 people; used for family reunions, church picnics and other small functions; has a ball diamond, two playground units equipped with swings and slides and a walking path Walter Hawkins Pool 341 Delaware Ave Chatham, ON N7M 2A4 519-360-1998-capacity for 300 people; Amenities include changerooms, diving board and washroom William K Erickson Arena 341 Delaware Ave Chatham, ON N7M 2A4 519-360-1998-Used for recreational skating, ringette, minor hockey, broomball and tournaments; Amenities include Changerooms, Concession Area and PA System * Ice Season runs Sept-Mar Orville Wright Pool King St W Chatham, ON N7M 3J5 519-352-0950-25 Metre Pool, capacity for 180 people; Amenities include changerooms, diving board and washroom Thames Campus Arena 999 Grand Ave W Chatham, ON N7M 5W4 519-360-1998-Wheelchair Accessible; Used for figure skating, ice hockey and special events * Ice Season Runs from Sept-Mar
