DescriptionThe Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program is a place where people (men, women, and youth) can receive an assessment and/or referral for treatment if they have a problem with mental health, substance abuse , or with gambling.

MHAP offers several different types of treatment for Adult and Youth Addictions which include
Assessment, referral and short-term treatment in adults (20 years and older)
Provides assessment, referral and short-term treatment (up to nine sessions) for youth in the Chatham-Kent area (ages 20 and under) who present with substance abuse concerns
The stepped care treatment is: Prescreening and brief assessment by Intake Worker; Intake/Education Seminar; Individual Treatment Planning Session; * Individual Gambling Counselling * Support Groups * Family Counselling * Youth Addictions
* Family sessions and group counselling are available as well Gambling Addictions counselling
Provides assessment, referral and short-term treatment services (up to nine sessions) for clients and/or their significant others who are experiencing gambling problems * Couple or family sessions specific to problem gambling are available.

Tues, Wed: 7:30am-7:30pm
