DescriptionJunior Achievement is an international non-profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring young people about business and economics * helps young people discover leadership, entrepreneurial and workforce readiness skills  
 
Elementary School Programs: 
Needs, Jobs, Tools (Grade 3); This fresh new program teaches youth about the difference between needs and wants, different jobs in the community and various tools that are used to be successful.  
 
Business Basics (Grade 5); students gain a better understanding of the role businesses play in their daily lives and develop positive attitudes towards business enterprises and studying economics in their local community  
 
Middle School Programs:  
JA Dollars With Sense (Grade 7); students take a close look at setting personal and financial goals for themselves, learn about budgeting, marketing and different investments vehicles through different activities. 
 
The Economics of Staying in School (ESIS - Grade8)-A motivational program that impresses upon students the importance of developing positive attitudes towards education and their futures * Thought provoking activities stimulate lively discussion amongst the participants 
 
Secondary School Programs:  
After School Company Program A Student VentureGrades 10-12); Program Length-22 weeks * gives students the opportunity to acquire basic business knowledge, relevant work experience & to develop interpersonal skills in a unique learning environment. Youth are placed into groups of 15-20 students and they create a company from ground up to learn the ropes of running a business.
