| Description | Chatham-Kent Multiple Births Association is a non-profit organization whose mission under the mandate of the national organization Multiple Births Canada is to improve the lives of multiple birth individuals and their families in Chatham-Kent. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at Blessed Sacrament Church from 7pm-9 pm. Throughout the year special events are held for families including an Easter party, summer picnic and Christmas party. Breast pumps available for rental. Lending library available Expectant parent package sent to any family expecting multiples who contacts C-KMBA * This includes booklets and fact sheets specific to multiples (contact after the arrival of multiples.) Membership includes: Membership with the National Group Multiple Births Canada, magazine subscription to Multiple Moments (the only Canadian magazine devoted to multiples), national discounts, C-K MBA newsletter 6 times/yr, early shopping at clothes, toys and equipment sales, monthly meetings, guest speakers, social events and family gatherings, access to lending library, access to Heinz warehouse in Leamington with membership card, and help finding resources to meet the families needs | |||
