| Description | The mission of the Migrant Worker Community program is to provide a more positive balance to the life of the migrant workers by offering social, cultural, recreational and communication opportunities and to build cultural bridges with their host communities. We achieve our mission by providing: Liaison services Mother's / Father's Day celebrations Health and Information Fairs Caribbean and Spanish festivals Introductory and conversational Spanish courses Bicycle safety workshops Spanish and English monthly newspapers Music programs Day trips to Niagara Falls Cross Cultural Sports Days Baseball League Additional sports related opportunities such as bowling and volleyball. We also actively promote the "free" English and computers courses offered by one of our community partners Frontier College for migrant workers (March to November) | |||
