| Description | Mental health centre offering a full range of services for persons with a serious mental illness * intake for WOTCH community programs Promotes mental health and conducts social action, advocacy, research and policy development Assessment and Community Support - Facilitates timely and rapid access to ongoing mental health supports, services and treatment as deemed appropriate through consultation, recommendation, consumer feedback and consumer request CMHA Crisis Services - Offers support to individuals facing a mental health crisis Housing Advocacy Program - Information and referral for housing and housing related issues * works with individuals to develop a housing support plan * assists in locating the units through various means * uses a housing database, to compile the relevant information, providing it in a manageable and condensed form Information and Referral - Mental health information and referral for individuals seeking counsellors, psychiatrists, self-help groups, group therapy, etc. Justice Community Support Program - Mental health community support with emphasis on shorter-term support as well as specialized support for those with justice involvement Justice Program - Provides support to clients with a mental illness who are involved with the legal system London Coffee House Program - Drop-in centre provides free coffee, tea, juice and a light snack * activities include a facility for socializing, cards, pool, games and organizes other social and recreational events and trips on a regular basis Mental Health Public Information, Promotion, Education and Support - Mental health education, promotion and resources for the general public Mental Health Works - Program provides the knowledge and tools for employers to respond appropriately when employees experience mental health problems Peer Support and Psychoeducational Groups - Hosted professionally facilitated and peer support groups St Leonard's Society of London Residential Crisis Support Beds - Provides three short-term residential beds to persons with a mental disorder Wait List Clinic - Provides access and support to individuals in the community who are experiencing serious mental illness and immediate barriers to access short-term support and long-term support | |||
