| Description | Hosted professionally facilitated and peer support groups Family Psychoeducational Program - Eight week group for family and friends who are dealing with mental illness in someone who is close to them * some individual support provided London Region Mood Disorders Self Help Group- meets every Wednesday evening from 7pm-9pm London Shyness and Social Anxiety Support Group - Meets 7:15pm first and third Thursday of each month Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - meets on 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7 pm. SAFE BC (Self Abuse Finally Ends) - meets every Tuesday afternoon 3-4:30pm Survivors of Suicide (SOS) - for persons grieving the death of a loved one to suicide * peer support group * meets 7pm second Tuesday of the month * also eight week professionally facilitated group offered twice a year Support Groups - Lists of Professionally Facilitated Groups in London-Middlesex and Peer Support & Psychoeducational Groups at CMHA London-Middlesex are available on the website under Support Groups Family Psychoeducational Program - Six week group for family and friends who are dealing with mental illness in someone who is close to them London Shyness and Social Anxiety Support Group - This group is for people with social phobia who would like to receive and give support to others who experience similar anxiety Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - Self help group for families of individuals with OCD Survivors of Suicide (SOS) - Professionally facilitated psycho-educational group for persons grieving the death of a loved one to suicide * call to ask for details regarding intake and the dates of the next meetings * peer support group that meets 7pm second Tuesday of the month. | |||
