| Description | Self-help peer-driven mental health community organization * acts as a resource providing experience and understanding, relative to the needs of peers * encourages independent living, self help and ongoing learning by participation in life skills and vocational activities to promote self-esteem and fulfillment Social Rehabilitation/Recreation Program - Peer support is offered on a one-on-one basis or group basis * no appointment necessary Warm Line - Provides a friendly voice for those who need a voice to hear * not a replacement for the Crisis and Invention Unit, the Police, the Hospital or any other Emergency Need * run by volunteers with a vast knowledge of different ways of life and can also provide resources when able in callers own areas * Topics for discussion include everyday life concerns and issues for any reason, including but not limited to mental health, bill issues, friend problems | |||
