| Description | Offers a variety of services to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their Caregivers individual support Coordinators meet with Caregivers and families to provide individual support and education at the VON office or during in-home visits, as well as through regular telephone contact Caregiver Support Groups - various Caregiver Support Groups are held monthly and are facilitated by the Coordinator Volunteer Respite Visiting - trained volunteers are matched with individuals in the community allowing for companionship for the person with Alzheimer’s disease as well as respite for caregivers Education - workshops for Caregivers * Resource Library listings include current books, videos and publications * Quarterly newsletter * Annual Alzheimer Awareness Event | |||
