DescriptionHelps maintain independence, while the individual remains in their home and community, with various programs

Caregiver Support - Provides education and support services to formal and family caregivers including information related to specific diseases and conditions

Congregate Dining - This service complements other services by providing a meal out of the home and an opportunity to socialize

Friendly Visiting - Volunteers are matched with seniors for one-to-one visits * volunteer visits in the person’s home, bringing them news of the community, reading to them or playing games of interest * visits are generally occur in the client's home, but the volunteer can also take the client on a shopping or banking trip, or to a social or cultural event

Meals on Wheels - Hot meals are delivered by a volunteer, three days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at lunch time

Security Checks and Reassurance Service - This is a support service that provides isolated persons or those with Alzheimer Disease or other dementias, with regular contact to determine that they are not in crisis or at risk of harm

Transportation - Program assists seniors and disabled adults who require transportation to medical appointments, shopping or visiting friends or family
