DescriptionSupports for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible

241-bed long-term care home * residential care, private, semi-private, and basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals

  • personal hygiene supplies
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

  • two secure areas for people with Alzheimer’s and related dementias

Adult Day Program and Wellness Centre - Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to support older adults and adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care

Homemaking Program - Assistance with daily chores such as laundry and light housekeeping for low income people

Short-Stay Care (Public) - 2 short-stay beds (respite care for people who have caregivers in need of temporary relief) * publicly funded * offered up to 60 days per year, as available * residents have access to the same services as long-stay residents
