DescriptionSupports for people with developmental disabilities and/or complex physical needs * helps people live in their own homes, participate in community, and enjoy life with family and friends


Day Respite - Daytime relief for caregivers of adults with complex physical needs * substitute accommodations in which personal support workers help with the activities of daily living

Passport Program - Funding available to people with disabilities and their families who are waiting for residential services

Recreation and Leisure - Recreational and leisure activities for people with developmental and/or physical disabilities * examples include luncheons and dinner groups, movie groups, scrapbooking, decorative painting, arts clubs, day trips and seasonal events

Supportive Housing - Assisted Living - Community-based support and specialized programs for people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury (ABI), complex medical needs, children's services, behavioral supports and supports for persons on long term mechanical ventilation program

Volunteer Program - Hands-on training to help people develop skills to increase their abilities * training offered within the community * examples include food preparation, shopping, employment and social skills, personal awareness training and personal hygiene
