DescriptionNonprofit mental health centre that advocates on behalf of the needs of children, youth and families in crisis because of crime and violence * clinical assessments, intervention, consultation and training, public education, research and advocacy * programs provide support, mental health assessments, monitoring of parental disputes, counselling, psychological support * professional workshops and training are also offered

Professional Workshops and Training - Training workshop topics include impact of domestic violence on children, child sexual abuse, cognitive behavioural interventions, youth suicide prevention, bullying, adolescent depression, vicarious trauma, child witnesses who testify in court, custody and access disputes

Resource Development and Publications - Develops training packages for helping professions * provides publications regarding child, youth and family mental health issues

Child Welfare Assessments - Assessments that help answer questions and inform decisions about case planning in the best interests of the children

Child Witness Program - Program prepares children and teenagers 0-18 years, for their experiences as court witnesses, advocate for testimonial aids and supportive counselling

Clinical Support Program - Program provides counselling to referred young people 12-18 years living in local custody or therapeutic care settings

Custody and Access Project - Conducts comprehensive mental health assessments of all parties in custody and access disputes to make child-centred recommendations on custody, for families or for the courts

Expert Testimony - Provides psychological assessments for victims of abuse, in the context of sentencing, dangerous offender applications or civil litigation

Intensive Interventions Services for Youth - Provides counselling, psychological and psychiatric services to youth on probation

Parenting Coordination - Coordinator is a neutral person who assists in the creation of a parenting plan, monitors compliance, and helps resolve disputes with the plan as they arise

Youth Criminal Justice Assessment Services - Conducts court-ordered psychological assessments to aid sentencing decisions

Youth Therapeutic Court Worker - Youth worker is located at the London/Middlesex Courthouse to help young people who are charged with criminal offences that may be traced to a serious mental illness
