DescriptionInvestigates allegations of child abuse and neglect under the Child and Family Services Act * protects children at risk of abuse * provides children brought into the care of the CAS with temporary and long-term care * supervision, counselling and group support to parents and families * handles adoptions and adoption disclosure * promotes healthy development of children, families and communities

CAS is required by law to have a complaints procedure * contact the CAS supervisor for a copy of the complaint procedure brochure or the local CAS and ask for a complaint form

A range of volunteer positions are available at the CAS London-Middlesex, call for more information

Adoption Program - Information about how to adopt a child in Ontario

Birth Family - Children and parents have access to finding birth family and adoption information

Child Abuse and Neglect Program - Contact if child abuse is suspected, or neglected, or is at risk of being abused and neglected

Community Group Program for Children and Mothers Exposed to Woman Abuse - A community-based group treatment program for children and youth and their mothers who have experienced abuse in their families

Foster Care Program - Provides information to individuals and families who want to become foster parents, or have questions about how to begin the process to become a foster family

Mutual Aid Program for Parents - Glencoe - Parent/child program providing social support and integration with a self help/mutual aid focus

Mutual Aid Program for Parents - London - Parent/child program providing social support and integration with a self help/mutual aid focus

Mutual Aid Program for Parents - Strathroy - Parent/child program providing social support and integration with a self help/mutual aid focus
