Department of Community Services - Manages access to government social services such as Ontario works, provides emergency financial aid to the residents of London and handles subsidies for non-profit day care programming

Development and Compliance Services - Zoning administration functions * includes processing of building permit and business license applications * handles complaints for alleged violations under the zoning by-law (e.g. untidy lots, swimming pool fences, licensing, etc.)

London Police Service - Maintains services for crime prevention, law enforcement, assistance to victims of crime, public order maintenance and emergency response

Parks and Recreation Department - Spectrum - A bi-annual catalogue of city recreational and leisure programs including health and fitness activities for all ages, and lists of city community centres, golf courses, arenas and swimming pools * online catalogue and registration available
