DescriptionVarious classes for parents and/or their support partners:

Prenatal Class Series: Meet other families and learn about pregnancy, coping through labour and birth, physical and emotional changes after birth, breastfeeding, infant safety and how to care for your new baby. These weekly evening classes run over a six week period, and are offered in various locations.

Becoming a Family Prenatal Class: Come for an evening class to discuss your transition to parenthood. We will focus on the changes you will experience in your roles, relationships and time management after your baby is born.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class: Get off to the best start with breastfeeding! This single evening session will cover latch and position, skin-to-skin, milk supply, how to know your baby is getting enough, and much more.

Prenatal E-Learning Program: This interactive web-based program with animated illustrations and videos is designed for you and your partner/support person to experience together, to help you feel prepared for childbirth and your role as a parent.

Smart Start for Babies Program and Smart Start for Babies Teen: This prenatal nutrition food skill development program is offered at different sites in London as well as Strathroy, and is for pregnant women and their support persons who have difficulty accessing healthy food. These classes explore topics related to pregnancy, labour & birth, early infant feeding & care and prenatal parenting preparation. You do not need to register for the Prenatal Class Series if you choose this option.
