| Description | Provides services specializing in the care of older persons that address medical, functional and psychosocial problems Service network includes Mount Hope Centre for Long-Term Care, Regional Mental Health Program and London Health Sciences Centre Geriatric Ambulatory Clinics - Consultative services and specialty clinics Geriatric Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit - 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation for clients with multi-factorial health problems (medical, functional, psychological, social) Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Unit - Inpatient rehabilitation following orthopaedic interventions (hip fractures, total hip or knee joint replacement surgery) Parkinson's Community Exercise Group - Held every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 12-1pm * $5 per class Parkinson’s Education Program - 7-week program for individuals with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers offered once a week Physical Maintenance Program - A half-day program aimed at maintaining the client's physical function and mobility conducted by a rehabilitation trainer and a therapeutic recreation specialist with the assistance of volunteers Services and Programs: | |||
