| Description | 14 week program offered to help high-risk youth develop positive social skills Groups are split into gender specific and age specific groups (12-15 years), (15-18 years) * class sessions focus on modifying negative behaviour and thinking * exercises during the 1.5 hour sessions include structured group activities, role playing, thinking games, puzzles, problem solving and group discussions * group atmosphere permits comfort and trust and facilitates greater learning and growth * teaching styles are supportive, non-threatening and encourage a high degree of group participation and responsibility for actions Classes help youths by teaching them to:
