|Description||FIRST AID and BABYSITTING Courses — courses run continuously throughout the month on both weekdays and weekends. All First Aid courses include AED certification. Company discounts and special groups rates available. |
Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) - provides short term home health equipment loans for clients who are recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Requires Health Care Practioner script. Please note we are unable to rent equipment to individuals under the age of 16. Health Care professional referral required to rent.
MEALS-ON-WHEELS- provides nutritious, low cost hot or frozen home-delivered meals. Availability for seniors , individuals with disabilities or any individual unable to prepare meals. Encourages independent living and provides families with confidence knowing their loved ones receive a regular visit and meal.
TRANSPORTATION — provides door to door rides for frail, elderly and disabled people who are unable to use public transportation.
COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES - (Formerly known as HOMEMAKING
SERVICE ) — is available 24 hours a day seven days a week throughout Sarnia Lambton County. Personal support / Respite & Companion Care. Call 519 332-6560.
HOMEWARD BOUND - provides assistance for seniors following a hospital stay, emergency room visit, or an out-patient procedure. Services can include transportation from hospital to home, Meals on Wheels for two days and home management/companionship hours. Funded by the Erie St. Clair LHIN's Aging at Home Strategy.
NUTRITIONAL NETWORKING- provides assistance to our seniors in order to meet their nutritional requirements by sending a trained volunteer to do grocery shopping or sending a trained volunteer with you to pick up your groceries.
