Description & Services
DescriptionDedicated to helping children and youth in coping and adapting to life's challenges, and promoting the well being of youngsters and families who are experiencing mental health related difficulties. 
Work with parents and the community in providing integrated early intervention, prevention, and non-residential treatment services' 
 
 
Services provided free of charge to residents of Lambton County: children and youth from birth through age 18 and their families. 
 
St. Clair Child & Youth Services offers a variety of services under three main service divisions: Clinical Services, Community Services, and Family Support Division. 
 
CLINICAL SERVICES provides a range of assessment and treatment services including Brief Intervention, Parent/Child Training Programs, Crisis Follow-Up, Youth Justice, and Concurrent Disorders.  
 
A Walk-In Therapy Clinic provide a quick access to therapy services. Every Tuesday (exceptions will be due to stat holidays and agency closures). 12 noon - 8 pm (last apt at 6:30 pm) 
 
COMMUNITY SERVICES provides services at our main campus and in the community. The Family Drop-In/Early Years Centre Satellite Program operates out of the Lochiel Kiwanis Centre, Sarnia, while the Outreach program is mobile. Other services include: Southwest Region 0 to 6 Mental Health Program, Infant Development Program, Postpartum Adjustment Services, and SCIP(Schools and Community in Partnership) 
 
FAMILY SUPPORT DIVISION provides services including the Therapeutic Family Program, Clinical Support to Foster Care, Family Solutions Program, and Dual Diagnosis Program. 
HoursMon - Fri 8:30 am to 5pm , evenings hours by appointment 
Tuesday's walk-in clinic 12 noon- 8 pm (last appt at 6:30 pm)

The Walk-In Therapy Clinic will be the first step for parents/guardians in accessing services in the Clinical Services Division at St. Clair Child & Youth Services.
FeesNone ; No direct charge to clients for services with exceptions ; The Agency is funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, the County of Lambton, the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, fee for service, as well private and corporate donations.
