| Description | Workplace Health Services (WHS) contracts with businesses to provide their employee’s with assistance programs (EAP) as well as counsels on a fee for service basis for individuals, couples and families. Services are tailored to the business or individual’s needs and include but are not limited to the following: Clinical short term counselling to employees and their families 24 hour crisis line support Information and referral services Financial counselling, addictions counselling, problem gambling services and dietary consults Access to a psychologist Workplace health promotion workshops and seminars Emergency response when there has been a workplace trauma or serious incident Telephone counselling Services are confidential and professional. Counselling and crisis services are provided by human service professionals who have achieved a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field. | |||
