DescriptionEmergency assistance program * provides funding for heat and energy for those experiencing financial difficulties and in receipt of a notice of termination of heating utilities * offers workshops to educate consumers on how to conserve and better use energy within households * assistance available from November of each year until exhausted * maximum assistance of $1000

Persons in receipt of Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) or Ontario Works (OW) must contact their caseworker(s) to discuss Community Start Up and Maintenance Benefit (CSUMB) or Discretionary Funding
