DescriptionSouth Asian Centre is an umbrella organization for people from South Asia aka Indian sub-continent, formerly British India; viz. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon), Bangla Desh, and the Himalayan Kingdoms of Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. We also accept members from South Asian Diaspora, people of East Indian origin from all over the world, e.g., Fiji, Malaysia, Trinidad, East Africa, South Africa, etc. We provide a variety of educational and cultural programs for youth, young ladies and young men as well seniors who hold a monthly potluck on last Friday of the month. We also provide premises for meetings to south Asian affiliate groups. We continue to provide immigrant settlement services either directly or through sister agencies.

EligibilityAges: 18 year(s) and up 1. Any person of South Asian origin,e.g. Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan heritage
2. those interested in South Asia; not necessarily of South Asian origin (Friends of South Asia)
