DescriptionAdministration offices for Windsor Public Library * oversees operations of 10 branches, Windsor's Community Museum and Windsor's Community Archives * provides information-finding services * online library catalogues and databases * on-site use of computers * computer training at Casino Windsor Cares Computer Training Centre (program temporarily suspended, as at Aug 7, 2008) * Librarians provide reference information on books, documents, CDs and other audio-visual materials * collection in more than 20 languages * the Kaysandra and Christopher Curtis Children's Learning Centre features Ontario Early Years program materials and is home to a Story Time and Developmental Play Area as well as an Audio Listening Centre, Computer Centre and a Visual Learning Centre * comprehensive program of activities for early years and school aged children * English as a Second Language (ESL) resources including books, magazines, video and audio tapes * local history resources * reading, writing and numeracy programs * daily newspapers from around the world * genealogical resources * government documents * large print and talking books * provides form-filling assistance for some documents * meeting rooms for workshops and conferences * Settlement workers
