1. Develops and provides leadership for a strong fundraising team for Windsor and Essex County.
2. Calls and chairs meetings of the fundraising team and provides orientation and periodic information updates.
3. Recruits chairs for Signature Events and other identified fundraising priorities providing ongoing support to these sub-committees.
4. Establishes communication links with eacho community partner, including service clubs, who support The Easter Seal Society's fundraising initiatives.
5. Recruit new groups to host or participate in East Seals fundraising events.
6. Participates in the annual business planning process and establishes, in cooperation with the Council, the fundraising goals and objectives.
7. Monitors fundraising results closely to ensure that the Council's goals are being met, establishing and implementing contingency plans in the interim if they are not.
8. In cooperation with the District Manager, organizes training and planning sessions for key members of the team.
9. Assists sub-committee members with recruitment of volunteers, when and if feasable.
10. Administers fundraising revenues and expenditures in conjunction with the chair of finance, the event treasurer and the office staff.
11. Informs the office staff of all required materials well in advance of the activity so orders can be processed.
12. Coordinates publicity with the Chair and Communications.
13. Ensure/organizes recognition of fundraising volunteers.
14. Participates in all evaluation/debriefing meetings and provides feedback and results to the Council and the District Manager.
15. Prepares and presents a fundraising report at each Council meeting and a year-end report at the Annual General Meeting.
16. Assists in the recruitment and orientation of a successor.

Parkinson Society Canada, Southwestern Ontario Region needs volunteers to assist with Windsor’s Annual SuperWalk, held in September at Jackson Park in Windsor. SuperWalk generates funds for Parkinson’s research and support services, which is important in Windsor, as there is a significant number of people living with Parkinson’s in the area. We are hoping community-minded individuals can be part of a committee to set-up and maintain the Windsor SuperWalk. There are a number of responsibilities for committee members, including: Sponsorship; Marketing and Media; Registration; Volunteers; Distribution; PSC Sales/Information; Entertainment; Refreshments; Prizes; Team Challenge; Supplies; On-site and Set-Up/Tear Down.
