Description and Service Details
Description (Service) NeighbourLink is a Christian ministry supported by 30 local churches in Chatham-Kent whose volunteers have been screened and are ready to assist in the community: providing free transportation to the needy, providing friendly visits for those who need a friend, helping with minor home repairs, pick up and delivery of grocery items and advocacy where appropriate. NeighbourLink accepts referrals from the C-K Health Alliance, the local Canadian Mental Health Association office, the Local Health Integration Network and C-K Children's Services. NeighbourLink connects people in need with people who can help.
Sup. Description NeighbourLink equips churches to work together to respond to needs in the community.
Hours The hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 9 am-12 noon are only for the phone volunteers who address the needs of the callers. The Network Coordinator is in the office Monday-Friday, typically 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
