Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Mobile Health Services -for people who use substances 
* Free Confidential Mobile Health Services are now available in Chatham-Kent for people who use substances 
*Services delivered right to your door include: 
> Delivery of safer drug use equipment and harm reduction supplies, including sterile needles, syringes, water, ties, cookers, alcohol swabs, cotton balls, sharps disposal containers, condoms and lubricant 
> Safe sharps disposal service 
> Overdose prevention, recognition and response training using NARCAN nasal spray (kits are provided for FREE & replacement kits are available) 
> Information & referrals to community and treatment services 
> In-home HIV, Hepatitis C and Sexually Transmitted Infection screening and testing (by appointment) 
> Safer sex and safer drug use education
Hours Service schedule 
Every Monday, excluding holidays, mobile health services are available in the following areas: 
* North Chatham (north of the Thames River) 
* Wallaceburg 
* Walpole Island (at bridge off of reserve) 
* Dresden 
* Thamesville 
Every Friday, excluding holidays, mobile health services are available in the following areas: 
* South Chatham (south of the Thames River) 
* Moraviantown (off of reserve) 
* Ridgetown 
* Blenheim 
* Tilbury 
Walk-in Services are available: 
* AIDS Support Chatham-Kent (CORE site) 
(67 Adelaide St S,. Chatham, Tu - Thurs 9 am - noon; 1 pm - 5 pm) 
* Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit, Clinic Services  
(177 King St E., Chatham; 8:30 am - 4 pm, MOn - Fri) 
* Shoppers Drug Mart - Wallaceburg@Pharmacy 
(30 McNaughton Ave, Wallaceburg, 7 days/week)
