Description (Service) Public Library 
Chatham-Kent Public Library has eleven library locations.  
* pick up and return items at any library branch within the municipality. Click Here for other Library locations  
Services include: 
* photocopier 
* 2 microfilm reader/printers, 2 microform readers 
* scanner 
* Smart Board 
* Internet access and WiFi.  
* A Meeting Room is available to rent in the evenings and on Sat 
Loan Period  
* 21 days for books  
* 7 days for magazines, cds and documentary videos  
* 2 days for feature films and children's videos 
* Use Chatham-Kent Public Library's On-line Catalogue to search all 11 library locations for Books, DVDs, Books on CD and more  
* Check the availability of an item and place a hold, log onto your account to renew items.  
The Library Cafe serves;

McKeough Local History Room houses local history including; 
* local newspapers and microfilm dating from 1841 
* Kent County Census records from 1851-1901 
* black history collection 
* books by people of Chatham-Kent  
Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society Library & Bookstore (Located next to the McKeough Local History Room offers; 
* historical and genealogical collection of interest to researchers and those tracing their family trees

Eligibility No restrictions * Children under the age of 10 require parental or guardian supervision.
Application To register for a library card at any branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library all you need is valid identification with your current address. Children under the age of 16 require a parent or guardians signature.
