Description (Service) Needlwork and Embroidery Group

Tulip Tree Needlearts is a chapter of the Embroiderers Association of Canada. 
The chapter was formed in 2001 with the aim of preserving traditional techniques and to promote new challenges in the Art of Embroidery through education and networking. The chapter covers the area of Southwestern Ontario. 
Membership is $55.00 per year which includes membership in the Embroiderers Association of Canada and a subscription to the magazine 'Embroidery Canada'. 
Individual and group correspondence courses are offered through the national organization. 
Workshops are on-going in many diverse techniques of embroidery and needlework through local and guest teachers. Our weekly stitch-ins are an excellent opportunity for fellowship and networking.

Meetings Monthly meetings 4th Tuesday of the month in the evening 
Weekly stitch-ins on Tuesday afternoons with the first Tuesday held at the Ridgetown Active Lifestyle Centre; second Tuesday in a member's home; third Tuesday at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, Chatham
