Description (Service) Volunteering with Girl Guides is a very rewarding and hands-on way to help girls and young women develop the best in themselves.  
 
Volunteer opportunities with Girl Guides of Canada are tailored to fit your schedule, your skills and your interests. Whether you want to offer an hour or two every few months or make a regular weekly commitment, there are lots of ways to volunteer and help Girl Guides of Canada put girls in the lead.  
 
Through Guiding, you can develop skills that are highly valued in the workplace, such as communications, event planning, risk management, program delivery, training and more.

Description (Agency) Girl Guides of Canada–Guides du Canada (GGC) is an organization for girls, led by women. Our hundreds of adult volunteers across Canada help us deliver a range of enriching activities to girls aged 5 to 17, enabling them to develop friendships and self-confidence while exploring the arts, sciences, cultural awareness and so much more. it be camping, travel, developing entrepreneur skills through cookie sales or many of our programs, GGC gives girls unlimited opportunities to develop their skills, be successful and develop friendships that last a lifetime.  
 
When you join Girl Guides as an adult volunteer, you’re embarking on an exciting journey. Each year from September to May, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of girls through weekly activities, fun outings and programming that’s girl-centric, fun and engaging. There are so many possibilities! Your unit could go on an outdoor scavenger hunt, have a sleepover at a science museum or plant a tree. Our dynamic programming offers plenty of opportunities for you and your fellow Guiders to be creative and ignite the minds of girls. 
 
What’s more, the Guiding sisterhood offers you the ability to meet like-minded women, hone your leadership skills and develop new ones, while receiving continuing training and opportunities to be an active member.
