Description and Service Details
Description (Service) The Mennonite Central Committee Help Center closed it's Chatham office, March 31, 2016. Low German speaking families can obtain assistance with Mary Friesen who is working 2 mornings a week at the Adult Language and Learning office. She is assisting families accessing internet based applications, assisting individuals accessing community supports as a result of cultural barriers and is also available for a small number of selective interpretations. Call (519) 354-7424 for an appointment with Mary. Applications for Permanent resident status contact either Mennonite Community Services ( 519 7653020) or Marvin Dueck 519 329 4000 Leamington.  
 
The drop in program for expectant mothers and their young children ages 0-6 years continues at 530 Victoria Ave under the administration of the CK Community Health Centre. Tina Fehr continues to provide Low German newcomer families ( children 0-6 years of age) assistance with accessing community services and Low German interpretation at appointments. She can be contacted at 519-397-5455 ext.158
