Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Mental Health Care for youth. A 5 year project aimed at developing an evidence-based sustainable model for mental health service delivery to positively impact and transform youth mental health outcomes. Designed in part by youth through a volunteer committee. This site is dedicated to conducting an initial mental health evaluation in less than 72 hours. Youth will not need a referral from a physician. They may be directed to ACCESS by a school counselor, family member or an outreach worker, for instance, or they are able to self-refer. Every door will be the right door to receive care. If needed, the clinician will connect the young person and his or her family to high-quality, youth-friendly services in a timely fashion.
