| Description (Service) | Provides a variety of prevention, education and intervention services for children and youth and their families by providing support and advocacy, enhancing strength and competence, promoting the unity of the family, positive family functioning and healthy, substance abuse free lifestyles. Programs available include: * Supervised Access Centre * Emergency Food Distribution (Food Bank) * Miijim Box Program (Christmas Hampers) * CAS advocacy and support * Parenting Programs * Court support & accompaniment * Classroom presentations on alcohol and drugs * Social Club - an after school recreational group for youth * Youth Probation * New Directions, Youth Diversion Program * Naaknigewnan, the Restorative Justice Project * Waabnong-Nikeyaa, the Eastern Door Program for Youth. |
