Description (Service) Club, appeals to teenagers interested in outdoor activities * learn to become outdoor leaders * learn to use a map and compass, GPS technology, orienteering, first-aid, camping and survival skills, canoeing, abseiling, trekking, mountain biking * more experience cadets may be involved in parachuting, white-water rafting and glacier climbing * involved in ceremonial military events and citizenship activities allowing them to connect with their heritage * develop a sense of pride and discipline through involvement in a hierarchical system
