|Description (Service)||Offers services to children, youth and young adults with physical, developmental and communication needs, to help them achieve their potential for a better quality of life.
Services include: Audiology; Augmentative Communication; Behaviour Consultation; Best Start (See below); C.A.C.H.É. Child Care; Family Service Plan Meetings; Family Resources; Feeding; Home Support (Respite and Special Services at Home); Medical Clinics; Occupational Therapy; Parent Advisory; Physiotherapy; Resource Support; Seating and Mobility; Service Co-ordination; Social Work; Speech and Language (SoundStart - see below); Teen Transition; Therapeutic Aquatics; Therapeutic Recreation;
BEST START - It's a place for children up to the age of six and their parents and caregivers to take part in programs and activities together.
SOUNDSTART - Goals are to recognize and help children with preschool speech and language needs as early as possible. Offers free community drop-ins for consultations and screening, hands-on training for parents, guardians and other caregivers and assessment and a range of services to suit the needs of your child and family. Integrated programs with Bluewater Gymnastics, Bluewater Cheer, Point Edward Soccer and St. Clair Tae Kwan Do.
