Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Respite Services - help families who have a child with special needs who is in crisis or who have no other respite services in place  
- gives the primary caregiver relief (available for children birth to 4 years) 
 
Special Services at Home (SSAH) - helps families with a child who has special needs  
- a worker is available to provide support for programming for children and youth in their homes and in the community 
 
Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD) - helps families with a child who has special needs  
- a worker is available to provide support for programming for children and youth in their homes and in the community 
 
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - helps families with a child who has a diagnosis of Autism  
- a worker is available to provide support for programming for children and youth in their homes and in the community 
 
Passport - helps families with a young adult who has a diagnosis of Developmental Disability  
- a worker is available to provide support for programming for young adults in their homes and in the community (available for young adults 18 to 30 years) 
 
Private Fee for Service Contracts - helps families and/or other service agencies/providers with a child and/or young adult who has a diagnosis of Developmental Disability, or Physical Disability. Provide private respite and/or programming supports in home or in the community.
Hours Mon-Sun 24 hours

Eligibility Ages: 40 year(s) and under 
 
Respite Care; In-Home on a limited basis; emergency care who are not eligible for other respite funding and whose mother/father is caring for them on a full time basis children age (0-4years). 
 
Special Services at Home (SSAH); children and youth (0-18 years) with physical and/or developmental disabilities

Application Open referral process - completed by the potential client or someone on their behalf 
Waiting period: Client/family could be waiting for Ministry approval of funding/contract
