Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Drop-in, one-on-one peer support with trained staff and/or volunteers * self-help programs coordinated with staff and volunteers include computer skills, life skills, cooking, clerical and housekeeping * volunteer positions geared to abilities * free coffee daily * clothing and food bank on site, accessible once a week (volunteer and member-driven) and to community homeless (emergency requests can be asked)

Breakfast Club -
free breakfast Tue-Thu 10am-11am at Talbot House, 655 Talbot St

Outreach Services - available on request (attending court dates, Ontario Works meetings, and other services) * after-hours peer support * Outreach Mobile Team available to share knowledge and WarmLine training

Mobile Outreach Peer Support (MOPS) Team - peer support and references to other available services throughout Ontario

Recreational Encouragement & Creating Healthy (REACH) Lifestyles - facilitates participation in outdoor and recreational activities * activities may include: horseback riding, cookie factory visit, trail walks, museum visits, fishing and picnics

Counting on Change with Sarah Coleman - budgeting, shopping skills and meal planning with Sarah both in a workshop group and one on one * Peer support is included

Recreational and Peer Support Horseback Riding - support and transportation to and from stables for individuals in an informal group model of discussion * riding/visiting with the animals

Meetings Member and volunteer meetings - Thursdays closest to the 15th of each month

Board Meeting - First Tuesday of each month at 12noon * individuals may request to speak to the Board by submitting a written request 2 weeks prior to meeting
