Description (Service) 138-bed retirement home

Short stay temporary care (i.e. convalescent, respite (caregiver relief), vacation) when space permits (available in secured unit if necessary) * private and semi-private rooms

Basic services include:
  • 24-hour nursing staff
  • bathing
  • medication administration
  • meals
  • housekeeping and laundry
  • social and recreational programs

Additional services and facilities:
  • physiotherapy and foot care
  • hair care and tuck shop
  • 5.5 landscaped acres

Provides three levels of retirement care:
  • Independent Living - Basic services
  • Supportive Living - Basic services plus additional nursing care for residents who need extra help with mobility, continence and other activities of daily living
  • Early Memory Loss Living - 28-bed secure unit to provide security and support for early to mid dementia residents * uses programming and cueing for activities of daily living * residents must be ambulatory, continent and able to participate in daily activities
