| Description (Service) | Government information about immigrating to Canada, settling in Canada, and Canadian citizenship Syrian refugees can be helped in the following ways: Donate - Help by donating to organizations in need, both in Canada and abroad Volunteer - Find a local organization to see what will be needed most in your community Sponsor - Help those feeling the crisis in Syria by sponsoring them to come to Canada To find out more about how to help, call 1-844-917-9742 (1-844-61SYRIA) Enforcement and Control - Investigates offenses and enforces the Immigration Act and Regulations * regulates and facilitates the entry of visitors or immigrants to Canada at port of entry * application kits available for mail-in service Immigration Recruitment and Selection - Accepts and processes applications from groups for the sponsoring of refugees * all other applications must be mailed to the address provided in the application kit |
