Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Literacy and basic skills training for adults, including math, computers, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence

Also offers the following:
  • support for adult literacy programs
  • information on and referral to literacy programs
  • literacy assessments through partner agencies
  • public awareness and education
  • professional development for member groups
  • literacy service planning
  • clear language consultation
Hours Mon-Thu 9am-5pm
Areas Served Brant County ; Elgin County ; Haldimand County ; London ; Middlesex County ; Norfolk County ; Oxford County

Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and up 
 
Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum * must have facility in English * agencies with programs as outlined, or having an interest in literacy issues
