Description (Service) Adult and continuing education centre

International Language Programs - Non-credit program is available to students 4 years and over * credit programs in some languages for students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12

Specialized Language Training Programs - Provides workplace language training for ESL students for food and beverage service occupations or skilled administrative and business/clerical occupations * includes skills training, job search training and continued employment support

Enhanced Language Training Programs - Provides workplace language training for ESL students for construction technology training and light industrial training occupations * includes skills training, job search training and continued employment support

Summer School
  • Secondary Summer School - Offers on-site improvement credits and both on-site and online new credits for secondary school students
  • Adult Education Summer School - Bridges to Learning (B2L) is a non-credit program that provides courses for adults who wish to update their skills for employment, apprenticeship, daily life, or to prepare for Ontario Secondary School Credit or another form of education
  • Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) and Adult Credit Programs
  • Pre-Apprenticeship - Information Technology Contact Centre Level One Training (Technical Support Agent and Customer Service Agent * free Level One training available using online forum similar to contact centre inbound workplaces
  • International Language Summer School - Offers elementary programs for selected languages during the summer months

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) for Mature Students (18+) - Earn high school credits for your prior learning and experience acquired at home, at work, in training, and volunteer work
