Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Literacy and basic skills training helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence

Short-term focused reading and writing and computer readiness programs are also delivered based on demand
Hours Class hours: Mon-Fri 9am-11:30am, 12noon-2:30pm
Administration: Mon, Wed 8am-4:30pm * Tue, Thu 8am-8:30pm * Fri 8am-4:30pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum * must have facility in English * newcomers with Canadian Language Benchmark 6 or higher and all clients will be interviewed to determine eligibility
