Description (Service) Enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 through inspections of enclosed workplaces, public places, schools and other places that are required to be smoke- and vapour-free * inspectors conduct inspections at tobacco and vapour product retailers to ensure vendor compliance with youth access and product promotion restrictions

Website includes legal information about the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017, the health consequences and burden of tobacco and vapour product use, the benefits of quitting, and information about programs and services available to help people overcome their tobacco addiction * includes regional and provincial stop-smoking campaigns and events
