Description (Service)Ensures the community is safe and protected during emergency situations

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) - Pre-hospital assessment, treatment and transportation of the medical ill or traumatically injured to one of 4 local emergency departments

Fire - Participates in community education, inspections, and prevention * responds to some medical/trauma calls with EMS and fire suppression

Onyota'a:ka Family Healing Lodge - Offers residential shelter for up to 120 days for people and families who are at risk of or in a violent family situation

Police - Provides policing to residents and visitors
