| Description (Service) | Student-run drop-in resource center for support and health services * oversees a number of individual student support services including: Food Support Service - 24-hour anonymous "food hamper" system provides food support service for Western University students only * baby food and other special requests available upon request * bring donations to USC office (Room 258, UCC) during business hours* email request to foodsupport@westernusc.ca Ethnocultural Support Services - Seeks to create a culturally inclusive University community * email ethnocultural@westernusc.ca Gender Equality Network (formerly Women's Issue Network (WIN)) - Recognizes, represents, and rectifies gender inequalities affecting UWO students * educational resource centre on woman's and gender issues * coffee houses, awareness days, feminine hygiene products, study space, and film series * genderequalitynetwork@westernusc.ca Health and Wellness - Aims to improve quality of life of students * Identifies areas of mental health, healthy lifestyles, sexual health and consent education, alcohol and substance abuse and overall well-being that require additional support and awareness healthpromotions@westernusc.ca Allyship Network - Outreach service * promotes inclusivity and diversity * offers ally training and organizes educational workshops to understand and celebrate diversity, as well as issues of sexuality and gender identity PrideWestern - Awareness, advocacy, resource and support system for students with questions regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, 2-Spirited, and Asexual (LGBTTQ2A) issues |
