Description and Service Details
Description (Service) * Non-profit, volunteer run organization * Rescues, rehabilitate, re-home neglected, abused and abandoned domestic animals * Educate community on the ethical and humane treatment of animals and importance of spaying and neutering pets * Please note: There are no animals onsite * Arrangements must be made with a Director before surrendering an animal.

PetSmart Adoption Service:Cats are available for adoption at the Woodstock Petsmart, located at 419 Norwich Ave, Woodstock ON. Staff/volunteers of OCAR must be present to meet any of the available animals.

PetValu Ingersoll and Tillsonburg Cats and Kittens are available for adoption at these 2 locations only.
Hours Office: Mon & Fri 1 pm-3 pm, Tue & Thu 6:30 pm-8 pm, Saturday 10-noon. Please email or message ahead of time on long weekends and holidays as there may not be a volunteer in the office.

Volunteer meeting second Tue of the month, 6:30 pm.

Pet Smart Adoption Service volunteer hours: Mon-Fri 6 pm-8 pm * Sat & Sun hours vary. Please see the notice on the adoption centre door for more information.

A home visit is required prior to finalized adoption.
If you are currently renting, permission is required.
References will be checked. You must be 21 years of age to adopt

Fees Service ; Adoption Fees: Cats $160.00 * Dogs $375.00 ; Both cats and dogs are spayed and/or neutered and up to date with vaccines. Cats are FIV/FelV tested, Dogs are Heartworm tested and Microchipped.
