| Description (Service) | By order of the Chief Justice of Ontario, all in-person Provincial Offences Act (POA) matters scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2020 through to and including Friday, September 11, 2020 will be adjourned and rescheduled to a later date. If you have a matter scheduled during this time, do not attend court. Once the Chief Justice of Ontario has approved the resumption of POA courts a notice of your new court date will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court.
The Oxford County Provincial Offences office is closed for in-person visits; however, POA staff are available to assist you by phone at 519-537-4890 or email atpoa@oxfordcounty.ca. For more information, please visit ontariocourts.ca. Municipal court administration is responsible for the delivery of the administrative, prosecutorial and court support functions as enforced under the Provincial Offences Act. Collects fine payments. Schedules trials and early resolution matters. Prepares transcripts of court proceedings. |
